SUNDOW new CPVC plant put into operation

SUNDOW SURPLA CPVC RESIN PRODUCING LINE

Sundow new CPVC plant with annual capacity of 15,000 tons was put into operation last week.
From 2008 Sundow began to produce CPVC resin in small scale, but as the old technology was not so advanced, the producing line was equipped with small reactor without DCS control system, the product quality and quality consistency was not satisfactory compared with world top producers’ product.
In 2014, Sundow invested a huge money building a new producing line with annual capacity of 15000 MT, this new producing line adopt new technology, equipped with 25M3 reactor and advanced DSC automatic control system, all this ensures Sundow Surpla Surpla™ CPVC resin quality has a great improvement compared with the old technology, especially some properties such as heat stability, processibility, gelation, vicat softening temperature.
